Jane Weiwei Zhou
Jane has been a member of the Chinese Medical Institute & Register in London since 2006. She is a qualified and insured Acupuncturist. She graduated from Nanjing Medical University after 5 years full-time study in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine. After graduation she worked in one of the most famous and busiest hospitals as a medical doctor of internal medicine in China. After 5 years working in hospital as a resident doctor, she got further training to be a Endocrinology registrar at Subei hospital (Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou university) in China. She helped many patients suffering from hypo and hyperthyroid disease, diabetes, infertility, with IVF, and other diseases of different human body systems by using western medicine and Chinese medicine for 12 years. In 1996, she had a one-year advanced scheme study in Ruijing Hospital( affiliated hospital of the Medical school of Shanghai Jiao Tong university which is ranked the highest in the endocrinology area), following Professor Chen Jialun and specialist Xu Manyin.
In the UK, Jane set up this acupuncture centre in Chandler’s Ford in 2006 and since then has practised Acupuncture and Herb Medicine for over 16 years and built up a very good reputation in treating different kinds of disease, helping many couples with fertility problems to have their babies and helping with morning sickness and position correction. As a practitioner, she is known for her intuitive approach to Chinese medicine and particularly for her skills as an acupuncturist and energy healer. Jane has always been passionate about helping women achieve a healthy body and mind at different stages.
Cailong Fang
Dr Fang is a member and research committee member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (ATCM). He graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1987 with a Bachelor’s degree and gained his Master’s degree from Anhui University of Chinese Medicine in 1990 following a famous Chinese Herbalist Professor, Zhou Xilin, to treat different illness. He had practiced Acupuncture, Chinese herb medicine and Western medicine in Neurology,Respiratory and Gastroenterology wards for 8 years in the well-known Subei hospital in Yangzhou, China and was an assistant professor of Chinese medicine in Yangzhou University. He completed his PhD of neuroscience at Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2000. After 12 years working as a postdoctoral research scientist in Southampton University, King’s College London and Imperial College London, having been involved in 13 peer-reviewed international publications in neuroscience, asthma and allergic disease, Dr Fang became a full-time acupuncturist and herbalist from 2014. He deeply understands the mechanisms of different ailments by both Chinese and Western medicine and has successful experiences of treating a broad spectrum of diseases. In particular, pain management, stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, IBS, asthma, immune and auto-immune disorders, gynaecological disorders and digestive disorders with Acupuncture, Tuina, Cupping and Chinese herb medicine.
